Psalm 46 (NKJV)
1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. … 10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! 11 The Lord of hosts is with us; …
We all tend to do everything we can to prevent trouble. But for the believers in Christ-Jesus, troubles can be beneficial.
Without the difficulties of life, we would never see the mysterious, miraculous works of God. Without the challenges of life, we are less likely to sense the need to seek HIS FACE.
Knowing that God is our refuge (a place to run to for safety) and our strength (power to endure), we can face trouble with confidence and not be overcome with fear. So, see and seek.
Praying that everyone made it trough the storm last night. My wife and I love Ya!
