Fact or Faith?
Recently, the idea of belief has been discussed during many of the study sessions that I have facilitated. It is believed, by some, that they are saved because they "believe" in Jesus. Well, the Bible says, we are saved by grace through "faith," not belief (Ephesians 2:8).
Even though the Greek word for faith is also sometimes translated as belief, there are differences. The Apostle James says, that even devils believe. But their belief is based upon the fact that Jesus is Lord. The devils' belief is so profound that they tremble. However, they are not saved.
Fact is knowing because of reality. Faith is trusting in a reality without seeing it. So the question is what is the source of your salvation? FACT or FAITH?
