Revelation 22:1–2 (ESV)
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb  through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

PASTOR’S COMMENTARY

The majority of people in our nation would love to have this pandemic which has plagued America for the past twelve months, over. While recent information leads many to believe that we are not far from seeing a recovery, no one knows what the future holds.

Many Christians have been praying for God to heal our land and are hopeful that the LORD will soon answer their prayers. Even though our country has not been humble, nor sought God’s face and refuses to turn from their wicked ways, they appeal to God’s enduring mercy.

But our nation has seen God move in times past in many miraculous ways, only to experience another calamity later. In God’s Word for today, the writer John saw a vision when the final healing of the nations will take place.

We should thank God for His Hands’ involvement, by whatever means, to bring us to a potentially brighter future. But we need to be mindful it will only be temporary. So, let’s join together and give God praise for our eternal healing.
