Acts 2:21 ESV (English Standard Version)
And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.

PASTOR’S COMMENTARY

I spent most of my career in the Air Force in the field of communications operations. During that time, I have seen the evolution of hard-wired devices to wireless. The need to call higher headquarters quickly was the motivation behind the invention of the cellular phone system of today.

However, there are times when our cell phones don’t work like they were designed to. Several factors such as internet connection, server, power supply, batteries, and the provider we pay can fail. So, even with all the advancements of technology, we can’t always call whom we need.

But God’s Word for today lets us know that there is One we can call without using a communication device. His line is never busy. He does not put us on hold and forget about us. He always answers, even if we don’t know or hear it.

He has more information than any 411 operator. He is far superior to any 911 system... So, when you are in need, who you gonna call?
