But I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.
Pastor's Commentary
In God’s Word for today, the Prophet Micah vowed to look and wait on the LORD even though the nation was going through difficult times. He was confident that God would hear his desperate pleas for help. Looking at the state of our nation today, we can relate.
In turbulent times like these, our only hope is the LORD. Our trust isn’t in earthly resources such as the government or social programs. Our hope rests upon the unlimited power and providence of God.
So, no matter how hard the wind blows, or the floods rage, or the violence happens around us, we can remain steadfast as we look to the LORD and wait for His deliverance. As we do, we can pray with confidence that He hears us.
