2 Corinthians 5:14 CSB (Christian Standard Bible)
For the love of Christ compels us, since we have reached this conclusion, that one died for all, and therefore all died.
One gospel recording artist sings a song called “New Creation.” The words that capture the thoughts of God’s Word for today are:
“It wasn’t until I stumble, and make my mistake that I knew in my soul how amazing was grace.”
We can rejoice today knowing that God’s grace is sufficient to cover our sins, past, present, and future. Motivated by His great love, God withholds the just and due punishment our sins deserved. Instead, He provides mercy and gives us what we do not deserve, which is forgiveness.
So, today let’s be thankful for being recipients of God’s amazing grace. No matter how dirty our sins may have been, God’s grace is able to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
